Buyer Meets Supplier is a vibrant networking and demand-driven B2B matchmaking opportunity, organised by Circular Flanders at the G-STIC conference premises on November 21.
If you are a procurement professional, you will be able to discover existing circular solutions in the market. If you are a supplier, you can sign up for a sponsor package that allows you to showcase your products to more than 100 different buyers. Major players in the circular market will be brought together, providing numerous opportunities for collective and face-to-face discussions and expanding your green deal network.
An important lever for the transition to a circular economy
Circular procurement is a new way of purchasing, with an eye for people, planet and wallet. It is a process whereby companies 'buy change', by choosing reusable materials, bio-based or biodegradable materials, by pooling resources and products or by sharing them with other organisations. Circular procurement is therefore an essential lever for the transition to a circular economy.
Because doing is better than talking, Circular Flanders set up a Green Deal Circular Procurement project in 2017. More than 100 companies and organisations committed to setting up two circular purchasing projects by 2019. Also, around 50 supporting organisations use their expertise to assist buyers in these projects and to share insights with other buyers.
